It's been 8 months since I had my nose job done,it was just the tip shortening and lifting,no bone braking.

From the very beginning one side of the nose was more swallen than the other and I couldnt breath through that nostril. The doctor told me that the swelling will be gone after couple of days and I would be able to breath normally through both holes.

Unfortunatelly although the swelling was gone the right side of the nose is bigger and i hardly breath through the right nostril.Besides the nose dropped down a bit and I'm not happy with its look.

Should the doctor conduct revision rhinoplasty free of charge as it is not only esthetic problem of the shape of the nose but also medical problem-brathing which causing me sleeping difficulties. I would really appreciate your help

Hi Ann,

I'm sorry to hear you're having problems. Personally, I think you should 1.) ask your current doctor about his revision policy, as this can differ by doctor, and 2.) get a second opinion. That should give you a pretty good idea of what to do next.

Good luck and please keep us updated!

hi I had an appointment with my doctor. He had a closer look into my nose and finally found out that I had deviated septum. I've never had such a thing before no problems in breathing etc so it must be result from a surgery. The doctor said that everyone had a bit of deviation and after a surgery it got deeper he will conduct a revision rhinoplasty for half a previos price but he said its too early since it's only 8 month after surgery. I have to contact him after hald a year again. Anyway I think a revision should be free of charge coz it was his fault how come after surgery I end up with deviated septum and blocked nose;/ what do u think?what's the best time for revision?
