“Three broken noses, two surgeries to correct nose bump”

Rhinoplasty: NOT worth it

Cost: $5,900
Pain: Uncomfortable
Rhinoplasty satisfaction: Poor1 Star Rating: Poor
I do not recommend my Rhinoplasty provider: Name not provided
Why: Very nice but not satisfied with answers to my questions or look of surgery.

I broke my nose three times in highschool due to sports. I then had two surgeries: the first one to push together the broken bone fragments in my nose, the second a few months later to shave off the bump it had formed. After the bandages came off my nose seemed to be pretty flat. However, the bump seemed to be growing back so the doctor told me to push down on it multiple times a day. Now it has been a couple years since the surgeries and the bump is back to its pre-surgery size.

Is it the doctor's fault the bump has grown completely back? If I had another surgery how likely is it to grow back again?

hey I had the same issue. He shaved off the bump-said it looked great and that it would be swollen for a while. Now- 3 months later, he told me it's scar tissue and that it wouldnt go away unless I had another surgery. I'm very upset over this. Yours is probably scar tissue too.
