“Rhinoplasties Unsuccessful in Reducing Bulkiness - Will Steroids Help Thin out the Tip of my Nose?”

Worth It
Spent: $15,000 in San Diego, CA
Much of an improvement to what it was previous to surgery, I had a larger pump that was removed but the tip was not worked on so I had to do a revision to thin out the tip of my nose.
I've had few rhinoplasties within the last 12 years which have all been unsuccessful in reducing the bulkiness and thickness of the tip of my nose (I also have thick skin which doesn't help the appearance) I was recently seen by a doctor which recommended to use steroids to thin the tip. Is this a safe option for me? I have a whole in my septum as a result of my surgeries and wouldn't want to jeopardize my breathing or health any further. I only would love an different approach for improvement-as you can imagine having multiple unsatisfactory surgeries is very difficult. Your advise is appreciated. This review is the subjective opinion of a RealSelf member and not of RealSelf, Inc.
