I had one syringe of Restylane injected into my nasolabial folds. This was on top of one syringe of Juvederm two weeks prior. (The Juvederm wasn't quite doing the trick, but is more expenseive than the Restylane, so my doctor & I decided to try the combo to save me $200.) Anyway, so far so good.
I love the result but I'm aware that some of it may be due to post-injection edema, so I'll have to wait a week or so until I see the final result. Right now I look 10 years younger!! It wasn't painful at all; my doctor used a local anesthetic so I hardly felt a thing.
I will definitely continue to get fillers- totally worth it!!!
I have a Baby Quasar red LED wand, which I love. Is it safe to use it immediately after Restylane injections in the nasolabial area? I am concerned the light may affect the filler, like break it down somehow.This review is the subjective opinion of a RealSelf member and not of RealSelf, Inc.
