“Wrong color during lip touch up.”

Permanent makeup: Worth it

Cost: $600
Pain: Mild
Permanent makeup satisfaction: Good3 Star Rating: Good
Seeking help:

I had my lips touched up and realized only after I got home that the color was different(natural)than previously used(a rosey color). My lips look so drab now. I'm afraid after the healing process is finished, I'll be unhappy with the proceedure. What can be done?
Review of Permanent makeup:

There was little pain and I was very excited to have the lip micropigmentaion done. I wanted to maintain my naturally light rosey colored lips but wanted a fuller look. Im afraid of what the final result is going to look like since the provider used a different color for the touch up.

hang in there! lips heal differently than other cosmetic tattoos. it is very common for the color to disappear initially and leave the lips more pale than your natural color. your new color should gradually resurface during the third, fourth, and fifth week following your procedure. you shouldn't judge the final color for at least six weeks. best of luck to you.
