“Reddish discoloration from permanent make up”

Permanent makeup: NOT worth it

Cost: $150
Pain: Mild
Permanent makeup satisfaction: Poor1 Star Rating: Poor
I do not recommend my Permanent makeup provider: Name not provided
Why: I should have done my research before having permanent make up. The whole thing was rushed. I should have considered the long term effects.

I had permanent make up done about 5 years ago. I did it to help fill in my eyebrows. It has left a reddish discoloration which, I believe, is from the interaction of iron oxide. I would like to undergo laser to at least reduce the appearance of the tattoo.

Permanent Makeup can lighten up over time and also become "reddish". This is corrected usually by applying a green based pigment over the red and the brown will come back. I would recommend this over trying to have it removed. Find an experienced permanent makeup artist and this will be easily remedied.

I have the exact same problem! They are actually a PINK! My niece thought it was the coolest thing, but it's not. I don't know what to do???? I have to constantly paint my eyebrows, if not I have nice pink/red eyebrows. I really don't want to have to get them redone. I also heard that laser takes your hair away also. Any suggestions???

All you need is a qualified permanent cosmetics technician to apply a green based brown and the orange or pink will be gone. VERY common and easy to fix. Much cheaper to have a color correction than a removal. If the shape is okay - color will be easy to fix.
