“Partial photofacial for rosacea”

Photofacial: NOT worth it

Cost: $800
Pain: Mild
Photofacial satisfaction: Fair2 Star Rating: Fair
I do not recommend my Photofacial provider: Sign in or join to view provider name
Why: The turnover rate for technicians in this office was high. I had a different technician each visit and one "shadowing" usually. They seemed very new, unsure and not properly trained.

I have had 4 of 5 treatments on my nose and cheeks. My skin is 30% less red than previously. Broken blood vessels seem to be minimized or eliminated. Scars from acne years ago have not improved. Slighly improved texture.

Updated on Sep 25, 2009:

If you are looking for a photofacial to reduce redness or imrpove the texture of your skin..save your money. Buy some high quality skincare products and use them regularly. And/or save your money and have a higher quality treatment done. I was not happy with my treatment at all, the improvement was slight and too costly.
