“Swollen Pubis After Tummy Tuck”

theres lots of info more in depth if you google it, but basically the blood flow after surgery all rushes down there and will for a while. im two months post tt and while its not near as bad as that first month i still have it to a degree. thats why theres drain tubes for a while. my dr told me that incision acts like a dam so the more your massage it and reconnect the vessels the better the blood flow and swelling will be.

I agree with lovingheart 100%. My Dr did tell me that gravity pulls all the fluids, swelling etc there. However after 3 months post op he wanted to do some touch up lipo and get rid of a little more skin, so he offered to lipo that area for me while doing the touch up work. I love the way it looks and am thrilled with the results. Not near as painful the second time either because we weren't dealing with the muscles. Just skin and fat!!

Ontario, Canada as well! I had my TT 2 months ago and have the same problem!! It looks really puffy and abnormal. I also have a firm amss right above that spot and it is concerning me. I too was told it would go down and not to worry but it's been 8 weeks and I still look like I need a tummy tuck! Hopefully time will make it go down for both of us! Glad you're happy otherwise!
