Well, it hasn't even been 24 hours since surgery but I wanted to give an account of what I am feeling.
I have not seen anything yet, all the bandages are still in tact but I am AMAZED at how wrong I was about the pain I expected. Sure...it's not real comfy but I wouldnt even call the pain mild...its not really pain, just discomfort and I had 3 things done...tummy, boobs, and eyelids. I am swollen and have a few "twinges" here and there but its not that beg of a deal. It hurt worse when I had my tonsils out.
I will update in a few days but for those of you who are thinking about it but the fear of pain is stopping you... I was terrified of the pain and I am doing great :)

Day 7...stitches are getting tight. Drains are still in but all is well. Saw the doc on Tuesday. Said I am healing unusually well and quick. Also noted that most do not have this "pain free" experience I have had. I got to see everything that has been hiding under the wraps and bandages...wow, I love my tummy and my new boobies are going to be so pretty when they settle into place. I am so happy thus far that I had this done. My boobs do feel very tight and a little sore but nothing to complain about. Go to the doc again this week...will update again.

August 18 another visit to the doc. Drains are still in :( said i am too active for them to stop putting out fluid so they stay in :( Eye stitches came out :) wow, that feels a lot better. Got to see under the surgical tape...my tummy incision is SOOOOO thin and SOOOOO low...no one will ever know it is there. And my boobies...OMG, I love them :) They still feel kind of weird but looking at them makes me smile from ear to ear. I love my Doc :) Another week of drains but its all worth it to me :) WIll post pics soon...though my before tummy and boobie pics make me want to cringe. Yikes. Good luck to everyone.

August 19...I lost the cap to my left drain...lol. Doc said that was a first. So, it couldnt get any suction to do its job...lol. Needless to say...the doc just took it out. Wow that burned...for about 10 seconds. So I am down to one drain. This is the best thing I have ever done...why did I wait so long? Interesting...now that one drain is in and one not...I can tell the difference in each side...can't wait to get the other one out :) Posting pics tmrw.

Well ladies... here are the pics i promised. i will begin with before pics of my tummy and then continue on as it has progressed... my surgery date was august 2009 and it has now been almost 4 months since surgery... hope you are as impressed with my docs work as i am. i did not have bypass surgery or really even lose all that much weight, most of what you see in the before pic is just, well...SKIN...yuck!
I had a tumy tuck almost 2 months ago and I love it. Not complaining at all but am curious about something. I have little or no feeling in my tummy area and what I do feel is swelling and puffiness and just WEIRD. But when I look, it looks fine. Anyone else have this?Great review?
