Teosyal in Nasolabial Folds Pushes Open the Pores on my Nose

Not Worth It
Spent: $800 in London, United Kingdom

The Doctor's surgery I went to is rated in all the magazines as one of the best in London. I had my nasal folds filled with Teosyal as I felt I looked a little drawn in the face. The Doctor I had was pleasant but it felt rushed the whole appointment as the waiting room was full and there were loads of people annoyed due to waiting over 2 hours.

My pores on the end of nose became visible after my nasal folds were injected with dermal filler. The filler had raised my nose slightly pushing the skin on my nose up opening my pores . As the filler diminishes the pores on my nose are returning back to normal - which is an enormous relief.

I also get a pooling of the product when I laugh or smile a lot which I try to smooth out to reduce the slightly raised bump next to my nasal folds. So I'm wondering if this is normal with this procedure?

The results of the procedure weren't satisfactory.

Has your situation improved since posting? Sounds like you've had a lot of challenges with this treatment.

You mentioned the product is diminshing now, how long did it last? as I'm hoping mine will disappear quickly and not last a year.

I was hoping this filler wouldn't last the year but I can still feel it under the skin. It has depleted somewhat as the pores on my nose have almost reduced back to their normal size. And it's no way near as puffy looking. But I noticed the other day that on one side of my face is being pushed downwards by the filler when my face is relaxed my lip on that side slumps. I hadn't noticed this before but the filler is now noticeably fuller on one side than the other. The doctor did top up more filler on that side so I guess it's depleting at a different rate due to have more product injected there? So disappointment with this treatment !! And I'm not convinced by fillers - Kylies & Nicole Kidmans faces just look odd and puffied up rather than younger !! Where as Jennifer Aniston, Demi Moore, Gwenyth & Elle MacPherson all look amazing.

Sounds like poor technique: too much, too close to the surface of the skin. Don't get dermal fillers done by anybody - shop around and get client references before making a choice!

I thought I had really shopped around. The French Clinic is where a lot of celebrities get treatment done and it comes highly recommended in a lot of glossy magazines and newspaper articles.
