“4 Weeks Post-op and Worried I Tore a Stitch”

I had excess skin from losing weight too quickly. I am 5'7 and weigh 120 lbs. I was never pregnant and I do not have any kids.
I had a mini tummy tuck and liposuction and 2-3 wks post-op became ill, where I was vomiting for a few days. I am 4 wks post-op, remain swollen and tender in the abdominal area. Is it possible that I tore a stitch? How can I tell if I did and how would the Dr. be able to see?
