“Mixto worked better on acne scars than fraxel refine”
MiXto Laser: Worth it
Pain: Severe
It is day 6 since the procedure. I have researched every possible laser, subcission technique, etc for decreasing acne scars, and decided Mixto SX was the one that fit my needs. One year ago I had 3 sessions of Fraxel Re:fine for $2,250, which showed no improvement in my skin. Now I have found a laser (Mixto SX) that gave me 100% better results!
Pros: My skin looks great, like I have never spent a day in the sun. Acne scars show great improvement. The smaller ones are completely gone, and the larger ones lessened by approximately 30%-50%. Short recovery time is another advantage of this laser. I was housebound for the first 4 days, but by day 5 I was able to go out.
Cons: The procedure was very painful even though I had a topical numbing cream, a pain-killer and anti-anxiety medicine. The pain was definitely worth the results.

where did you have your treatment at? I think $750 is a great price~

6 days after procedure you still have residual swelling that masks skin imperfections. More often then not, when the swelling subsides in a few weeks, so will the 'results'.
