“Loose Corded Skin Under Chin After Lower Facelift & Necklift”

Spent: $14,000 in Boston, MA

I am 8 weeks post op from lower face and necklift. I had a small amount of lipo under my chin and have a 1.5" incision under my chin.

Pros: I no longer have sagging jowls or a turkey neck. My mouth is no longer as downturned.

Con: Surgery was much more painful and recovery was longer than I had anticipated.

The skin under my chin is loose, rippled and corded-looking. Will this eventually smooth out? If I need a revision where will my incisions be reopened?
