I noticed that as beautiful you were smiling your nose was a ditraction from those eyes now the nose is the center and is perfect the tip is the best part you need to get used to having your old tip with nostrils more prominant...being gone it takes time but now you have a symetrical face and look like any other model in an add you are beautiful I am happy that you will feel better about yourself now.
your new nose looks awesome. Love your results. Stunning.
Does it look good? IT LOOKS FABULOUS. Its a GREAT result. Its a lovely NATURAL improvement that makes your BEAUTY SHINE THROUGH. Be outrageously happy! You are a success story.
it looks beautiful dont worry about it you look great
Your new nose is gorgeous! You were just as pretty in the before as in the after, but your nose was very crooked before. Your doctor did a great job. Beautiful!

Are you unhappy? I do not get your postings? You have an acceptable result if you are satisfied! I see a small supratip deformity. From MIAMI
I know the postings are confusing! I'll explain :o) I first posted because I changing something like my nose, (even if for the better!), was kind of shocking, and I was looking for reassurance. Now that I've gotten used to the change, I love it! The doctor did a great job straightening it. (I don't think the pictures show how crooked it really was.) He took some artistic liberty and slightly narrowed the tip which I also love now. although i think that is what shocked me the most at first because we didn't talk about doing that pre-op. but once the swelling went down, and i got used to the change, i realized i lOVED it! the only thing i would change (and might end up changing) is the side profile. I asked for it to be slightly dished, and I feel that it's still slightly convex. (i don't know the correct terms.) Maybe there's still swelling that needs to go down? What is a supratip deformity and how do you fix it? Thank you for taking the time to comment!
omg i love it. It looks soooo good.
I'm getting my rhinoplasty June 23....i'm really freaked out since i've never had anyt type of surgery and scared of the whole process and pain.
How did you feel when you woke up? How is it being under anasthesia?
thanks in advance
Marilicious, I didn't find the surgery that bad at all! If you'd like to talk more, feel free to email, especially closer to the time of your surgery. The scariest part for me was the waiting to get to surgery. Once they start the anasthesia you'll be out in 20 seconds. After that, I don't remember I thing during the surgery. Immediately afterwards kind of sucks. haha. It's really good to have someone to take care of you for a couple days. Although prior to surgery I told my mom I'd be fine and that she didn't need to come, I was so happy she was there the day following my surgery! Coming out of anasthesia I was extremely nausous and throwing up blood that had gotten into my stomach from the surgery. I threw up about 3 times in the 3 hours after surgery. Then I went home and went to bed for the night. The next day wasn't too bad. I was achy and a naseous, but it really wasn't too bad. it's not stabbing, awful, unbearable pains. I had pain meds that made me feel naseous so I was more naseous then in pain. (although i wasn't throwing up, just felt sick to my stomach.) After laying around for a couple hrs, my mom and i went for a walk on the beach and i showed her around town some. I had to take a couple breaks to sit down, but again, it was because i felt naseous, not because of pain in my face/nose. the second and third day were the worst looking; my eyes were greenish from bruising and swollen, but like i said, that was the worst day, it got better after that. also, i didn't eat anything except grahm crackers for like 3 days too because of the nausea. that was the worst of it! it's hard to eat because of the pain-- it's not awful pain, but you just don't feel like opening your mouth wide or smiling big, etc. it's great for weight control! hah. if you have other questions, let me know!
wow, interesting to read how it affects everyone so differently. I did not get nausea but I did get super swollen. I had a severe trauma though, in terms of my nose being crooked (though mostly also noticeable from certain angles). Mine came from childhood trauma (falling on my face) when I was still learning how to use my legs. Anyways, one of my eyes pretty much closed/squinty. I found the internal stints to be extremely uncomfortable and I'm hoping healing in time will fix the issues I hate because I had a hard time even swallowing my saliva the first week after. Definitely lost some weight that week. Crackers were my friend. Congrats on the success story, danirpi! Good luck, Marilicious! My advice for anyone thinking about rhinoplasty--communication is KEY--make sure you and your doctor are on the same page with every detail (put it in writing if you have to) AND get in touch with actual patients who can tell you the doctor listened to them and truly cares
Your nose looks great and you are beautiful!

Thank you all so much for taking the time to look and comment! And thank you for the compliments! :o) They all really made me smile.
