“Liposuction Scar Tissue”

I had liposuction on the 22nd of july on my lower abdomen/pubic area after losing 100 lbs 3 years ago. I have had to return 2 twice a week to have fluid removed for the past 5 weeks.
I had the surgery because a fellow coworker made fun of my lower ab/pubic area that was in need of reduction after losing my weight.
Today the doctor said that I have scar tissue the size of a small egg and that it should fade away over time. I have doubts, the scar tissue is hard, can I expect this tissue to fade? thanks to all and god bless!This review is the subjective opinion of a RealSelf member and not of RealSelf, Inc.

He seems genuinely concerned and has not charged me for the 2 times a week returns for fluid removal.
