“Scar revision and lipo caused a seroma”
Liposuction: Worth it
Cost: $7,000
Pain: Uncomfortable
Pain: Uncomfortable
Liposuction satisfaction: Very good
The hardening and softening of my sides 6 weeks post op have me perplexed and my doctor is perplexed by a seroma from a scar revision.
The pros are my body looks great. The cons are that I must have had on rose colored glasses, or is this really normal?

I am extremely swollen, my right side more. You can see a little bit of my waist on the left side.

Here you can see the actual scar revision. After having taken this picture, I am actually shocked at how swollen my belly really is. It certainly feels this big.

u no what, my stomach blew back up again and i think its because ive been very active. i mean its hard and very swollen. it seems like cosmetic surgeons tend to give a general timeline on wen all patients get the green to getting back to normal, but sum of us have bodies that will act up in the beginning according to what my doctor has told me. i think this goes for both of us, we just need more time to heal. did u ask ur doctor about this?

Tomorrow is 9 weeks post op. Still get big and swollen, still have burning and still numb in some parts. I have scar banding too underneath my arms. I have a seroma that is still being drained 1-2 times a week with about 50cc's coming out each time. I am surviving but, really want all this to be done with already. You're right about some bodies taking much longer, mine certainly is.

I'm healing just very slowly. I can see the difference but, I haven't taken any more pics. Still have a small seroma too. He only got 25cc out today. So, it seems to be resolving. Talked to the Dr. today about doing some more lipo on my hips. I had a fat transfer to my butt and I feel it has made me look wider. So, he is going to do some lipo in the office under local anesthesia. How are you doing? How many weeks post op and what exactly did you have done?
