How to Correct Dent in Leg from Lipo

Not Worth It
Spent: $5,000 in Orange County, CA

Had thigh lipo to try to contour my legs more. I'm of normal weight, not heavy or thin. One leg ended up with a dent on the side that is very noticeable. Have had fat grafting by the doctor twice to try to fix it, but it hasn't.

Do I have any other options? I can't wear a bathing suit or anything that will reveal my upper thigh because the dent looks like a leg deformity. I've even told people that it was a cyst I had removed.

My Doctor: Name not provided

It really depends on the doctor. My doctor was part of a well-known practice, but I believe she was fairly new.

Sorry to hear that. You should get a second opinion. Unfortunately with any surgical procedure, there are risks though. I hope you are able to resolve this issue. Good Luck

I am suffering from same problem, even worse with outter thigh problems. I have heard that thigh lifts are a better option. Though of course this is pricey.

I was recently told that restylane could be used to fill the area. Of course, it is not permanent, but it could be done in the spring and last through the fall, covering bathing suit season! From what I understand, it is easier to get a smoother result from a filler than fat. And I guess the benefit of it being temporary is that if the results aren't great, they will be gone in 9 months. I haven't tried this yet, but am considering it as an option.

Hi, did the dent in leg improve ever since you posted? I got lipo 41 days ago and I notice there are grooves and indents on my thighs. My PS say they'll go away but I'm scare they're here to stay. So let me know how ur doing. Thanks.
