“IPL Left Me with White Patches”

Not Worth It
Spent: $125 in N. Carolina

I have brown spots, many on jaw and forehead so i had an IPL treatment.

Recovery was only 2 days, left with dark brown skin that sluffed off. Left with the brown spots and large white patches. It looks aweful! was it done correctly? what do i do now?

now i am left with the brown spots and large white blotches... was the treatment done correctly? what do i do now??

My Doctor:

i'm concerned it wasn't done right. Had botox done at same time and it didn't seem to take fully. One eye has less creases than the other....

I also ended up with white patches. I ended up going to another provider and having another few treatments and the white patches were able to be evened out. Took a while though. Just be sure the machine used is up to par. If it's an older model, it won't be able to offer a smooth even end result. Good luck. If done correctly, IPL treatments offer fantastic results.
