Laser Hair Removal Treatment. First on Lip and then Bikini line, later adding inner thigh, toes and underarms. The hair does seem to lessen with each treatment.

I believe Laser Hair Removal can lead to Thyroid issues. No One in my family has thyroid issues. Mine didn't start giving me trouble until I've been receiving Laser treatments for 3 1/2 months. The thyroid became enlarged 1 1/2 to 2 weeks after the first underarm treatment. I believe I have thrown something off and am hoping that my dr. can confirm. I think there is a link that just hasn't been "medically" proven as of yet. Please look into this...

You are absolutely right! It happened to me! It's happened to other people. As a matter of fact, I know a woman who had had sono on her thyroid before IPL that showed no problems whatsoever.
Not long after IPL she had thyroid nodes and hypo symptoms.
I have nodes and hypo symptoms myself. I never had those symptoms before IPL. I had fractional laser and IPL and I think either one could be the culprit.
