“Fraxel Treatment for Acne Scars”

I had fraxel treatment to treat acne scars. I had 2 treatments already and I have seen improvement so far but the scars are still obvious and I would still breakout.

I have been hearing good things about the vitalize peel but I'm just wondering if I can go for that after a fraxel treatment? And if so, how soon can I do it after a fraxel?

I just had 2 sessions of fraxel treatment on my face. The last one was in August. Can I have the vitalize peel after 2 months? Will it not affect the result of the fraxel tx?

No problem with the Vitalize Peel after a Fraxel re:store treatment. I'd wait approximately 1 month though. Steve Weiner, MD

Fraxel laser treatments do good for some acne scars but usually need 5-6 sessions. If there are discolorations from the acne, then several light chemical peels work great and are less costly @$175-250/peel. Good Luck, David Hansen,MD
