“Blood on Eyes After Lower Blepharoplasty”

I have always had bags under my eyes and people were constantly telling me how tired I looked. It only worsened with age, so I decided it was time to do something about it.

I had a lower blepharoplasty performed last Thursday, 10/15. The next day, I had blood on my eye surrounding the iris and on the cornea close to where the incision was made (inside the eyelid). My ps said it was normal, but could someone please explain what this is and when it will go away? I am 6 days post-op at this point and it looks exactly the same as it did on day 2.
