“Juvederm for "parenthesis" laugh line - dealing with excess gel”
Juvederm: NOT worth it
Cost: $900
Pain: Mild
Review of Juvederm:Pain: Mild
Juvederm satisfaction: Poor
I recently had 2 injections of Juvederm on one side of my face to decrease the "parenthesis" laugh line between my cheek area and mouth. However, all of the juvederm has migrated into one place in my cheek and looks like a sagging pocket of gel.
I was told that the injections would only last about 6 months. It has been about 4 months now and I have be massaging the area and trying to push the gel out of the pocket but have not had any success.

Sorry to hear about the troubles you're having.
Hyaluronidase is an enzyme that can be used to dissolve Juvederm. But, if you think it's nearly worn off, it might be easier to just wait it out.

Go back to your practitioner's office and request that they inject hyalurinidase into the area. Hyaluronidase is an enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid (which is what Juvederm is made of.) If it is not a granuloma, then the uvederm will be completely gone within 24 hours.
