Worth It
Spent: $1,300 in Massachusetts

Over past year had become more concerned with the dark circles under my eyes and general look of tiredness. Had several consults with 3 plastic surgeons and one derm. All suggested either tear trough, cheeks or both. I decided to fill both areas to feel more refreshed and younger.

The doctor was excellent- in all areas. The procedure was relatively painless and i had minor bruising which is covered by makeup- my concern is whether I am still experiencing some swelling or the possibility of too much product in my cheeks giving me A puffy look...

I had restylane in my tear trough area and elevess in my cheeks 2 days ago.. the cheeks are a little too full for my liking- I have a puffy look to my face and not as much definition between the upper and lower cheek. How much of this could be due to swelling in the area? When should I expect the final results to settle in? I have a follow up in two weeks and am worried that this puffy look may remain as permenant results until the filler wears off.

Update: 1 week post injections swelling has subsided and I look great. My friend commented that I looked so much better and my under eye circles are almost completely gone- definately well worth it!
