“Earlobe Repair Contour - Split Earlobe?”

I did not like that the fact that they split the earlobe I believe it wasn't necessary . I did it to have normal looking ears.

I recently had an ear lobe gauge repair. The holes were quite small about 4-6mm open. I did not expect to have my ear lobe split but the surgeon split the ear lobes and sutured them, both suture lines are not identical and one of the ear lobe contours is more squared than the other due to the different stitching. Was his technique right? What should I do? Is this Repairable? This is still 5 days after the surgery and it still looks asymmetrical.
