“Don't Go Near Sculptra!”
Posted 13 Jun 2009
I had Sculptra injected into both cheeks in the March of 2002 and by October 2002 I started to notice small lumps under the skin on both sides of my face, together with skin discolouration. I returned to my Beauty Therapist, a qualified nurse, who refused to be involved, referring me back to the manufacturers' insurance company
After over 2 and a half years of deliberately protracted negotiation between my lawyer and the insurers to get Sculptra to take some form of responsibility for the disfiguring lumps, we ran out of the three year time limit. Eventually two years ago I underwent plastic surgery (the skin was pulled back) to remove the lumps which my surgeon said were like grains of rice, and although improved, the skin is still scarred and uneven.
SCULPTRA IS DANGEROUS!!
