Botox - Not Worth It...- Delray Beach, FL

I have low brows from aging naturally and they gave me head/eye aches, so to avoid the inevitable (brow lift) I thought I'd try Botox. My brows are now even lower & my eyes have barely any lids now! I feel paralyzed. I actually have to scotch tape my eyes open to put on eyeliner & shadow now! I can't wait until this wears off! It's horrible. I look tired & eyes ache worse then ever. When I try to lift my eyebrows, the arch is gone & the eyebrows are straight across. I look like I am scared all the time now.

Do not get botox if your brows have already dropped. (I'm 54). I also have joint weakness, joint pain plus feel lightheaded & dizzy since the injection (2 weeks ago). I have had 3 sessions of Fraxel in the past & it has made my skin texture mush nicer and the color more even. The Fraxel eliminated my crow's feet and most wrinkles weren't that deep anymore since the Fraxel so I could kick myself for doing the Botox. I will definatly do another session or 2 of Fraxel.

I also had Restylane in the puppet lines and it helped about 15 %. I would do that again, but nothing shy of surgery makes a major difference there. Don't expect miracles. Especially with the Botox.

Great review?

My Doctor: name not provided

He was a sweetheart, but should have known not to do Botox on such low brows unless he wasn't experienced enough.

Sorry this happened but Botox can give you a lift. At least that is exactly what it did for me. My eyebrows always went straight across but after a round of Botox I now have an arch and light lift.
From your photos looks like the Botox injector over treated your lateral brows to cause the drooping. The good news it wears off in 3 to 4 months. The bad news you will be angry for 3 to 4 months. Next time research for a very experienced Botox injector and DO NOT get any injected past the mid area of your eyebrow. Regards Dr. Darryl J. Blinski, MIAMI
