First off thanks so much to all doctors online for your help who are willing to help us people with medical issues and concerns as you are very much needed and appreciated. Ok I am a light skinned african american female and I have dry acne prone skin and all of a sudden, one day I started to break out and it had gotten worse over the next few weeks resulting in scarring and not to mention that I am a picker so, I bought a 12.5 tca peel online and applied it incorrectly, mistakingly and did not wash all of it off, so now that spot on my forehead is discolored and is about 2 shades darker than my actual skin tone and I am assuming that it is a burn from the tca. I also had not actually followed the directions and scrated it when i shouldn't have and went about my regular daily routine which includes glycolics and lactic acids and I may have had a little sun exposure as well. So about a month later I try it again correctly and it peeled perfectly within a week but of course no dramatic results. So please give me any advice on how to get rid of this possible discolored burn from the tca. I am currently using regular exfoliation cleansers, astrigents with glycolic and lactic acids and a bleaching cream.
What are the best products to use to get rid of this possible tca burn on my forehead and for my skin type???
