“Had a Baby, Gained a Lot of Weight, Decided to Get Liposuction”

I just had a baby and I gained a lot of weight and I decided to get lipossuction of my stomach. I am happy with my decision it just really hurts and I feel really nauseated.

I have bad nausea and pain after abdominal liposuction is this normal?

This is a normalreaction to anesthesia and or pain medication. We usually prepare our patients preoperatively with anti nausea medications, then give three medication itraoperatively to prevent nausea and vomiting. We have less than 1% nausea at our surgical center,
