Worth It
Spent: $6,000 in Washington, dc

I love the outcome but hate the scars. I am suppose to feel good about myself but instead I dont have self confidence in showing anyone my scars.

what can i do to improve the scars. I am a fair color african american. I dont believe they are keloids, but are dark brown, raised and wide.

My Doctor: Name not provided

should have found out and considered his specialty. some docs are better known for their blephs vs tummy tucks

I recently had a scar revision, mine did the same thing due to infection issues. The dr. can do a scar revision, also try and order the silicone sheeting. It really helps. Hope you feel better!!

I am caucasian and have experienced the same kind of scars. I also have uterine fibroids. I've read that they are connected. My doctor suggested a topical medicine but I was allergic to that.

Try Kelocote spray or gel. It's designed for keloids and hypertrophic scars. Depending on the size you buy it's between $40 and $90 online. Try that before you spring for scar revision. I have keloids and hypertrophic from a previous surgery and I've had some success coupled with scar revision work.
