Not Sure
Spent: $8,000 in Hawaii

Had saline implants switched to silicone because my left breast never fully dropped and I was self conscience about it. Also went smaller.

Pros are that aside from the rashes my breasts look much better. Cons are the drains, financial burden and my rashes are driving me crazy!

I am 15 days post op from BA with silicone implants. 8 days post op I developed an itchy rash on both breasts. I saw my PS yesterday and he told be to stop wearing the surgical bra bc I may be allergic to the synthetic fiber and I did not have an infection. Today my rash has spread to other parts of my breasts. They are red, warm, and extremely itchy. The rashes are around the implants. I put topical anti-itch cream on the rashes. Could I be allergic to the silicone implants? I am allergic to silicone contact lenses. I feel my body is reacting negatively to them. How common are rashes? Please help!

You are not allergic to the silicone. You could be allergic to the surgical soap used during surgery, or allergy to one of the medication you are on or allergy to the antibiotic that the implant wes bathed in before insertion. You may have to go on a short course of cortisone. Blood test to make sure no infection.
