“Saline Implants 10 Years Ago. Now Considering Redo”
Posted 23 Aug 2009
I had implants put in about ten years ago, over the muscle. Back then I had a lot of young firm breast tissue that covered the implant, so there wasn't any rippling.
I was never completley satisfied because they were never properly aligned, and this caused one to appear to droop just a little. Also back then saline was thee only option and they tend to be too round for a natral look.
Now I have had a child, and I am ten years older and there is obvious rippling and that droop is more pronounced, not to mention I would prefer mor of a teardrop shape.
I was wondering if it is possible to get my implants replaced, and the problems corrected and would going under the muscle this time be a possible solution? This review is the subjective opinion of a RealSelf member and not of RealSelf, Inc.
