“Worried my Saline Implant is Deflating”
Spent: $7,000 in USA

I had a breast augmentation a year ago with saline implants. Four months ago I noticed my right implant was a little lower than the left one so I made an appointment with my doctor to see if it was "bottoming out". He said that it looked like I lost some volume on top and told me I may have a slow leak out the valve and to keep an eye on it. It has been four months since then and I haven't noticed any changes. I take photographs periodically to check for any changes and I haven't seen a difference.
Pros: Look and feel great, confidence level increased dramatically
Cons: None
I was a size 34A since I was a teenager. I never felt womanly enough and wore padded bras to hide my embarrassment. I finally made up my mind to have the surgery and it was the best decision I ever made.
Can someone please give me a specific time range that a saline breast implant with a slow leak would take to deflate. I have been very worried about this and I want to know how long I have until I'm in the clear. Thank you. This review is the subjective opinion of a RealSelf member and not of RealSelf, Inc.
