“Capsular Contraction: I'm 11 Weeks Post Surgery”
Spent: $5,500 in Missoula, MT

Long story short, I have always had a size difference in my breast to begin with and that is not the only problem I am now having.. The one that had naturally bigger (my left), is Significantly bigger now than my other one. It is tighter, firmer and, not easy to move around like it once was and I was instructed to do as exercises. The other smaller breast, (and this is the weirdest thing), is not only noticeably smaller and much more natural looking, but "appears and feels" to have no implant in it whatsoever!!! And Mind you, I went from a nice-B to 425CC Mentor Silicone/Memory Gel. It's almost as if my body dissolved it!? Hence- I do not know WHICH breast to be more concerned about.. but truth be told, the bigger, tighter, less-movable one is really worrying me..
As far as "balance" goes between them - the nipples - etc are fine and I am very very thankful for this. It is the Full cup size difference between the two, and the lack of the same behavior as I once had, or in comparison to my smaller breast, that is stressing me out. When I "pinch it up" (the smaller one) it looks ONLY like normal breast tissue.
What is going on with both of them!? Is the smaller one, “the way it is supposed to be” in a good way, and the larger, tighter one early capsular contraction? My Question is: Is there ANYTHING THAT I CAN DO NOW TO HELP IT??? MASSAGING AND THE EXERCISES IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN TOLD. I am traveling away for work, but have set up an appointment with my surgen when I return home in two weeks.. Can I do Anything in the mean time since I am barely at 3 Months Post-Surgery??? Thank you..!!This review is the subjective opinion of a RealSelf member and not of RealSelf, Inc.

I researched him as well as I could, AND I pretty much had to talk him into 425CC Implants, as he Does Not like to go that big. He is personable and appears (as far as the credentials I saw) to be a leaded in his field and a cautious man. I look forward to seeing him in person to see what his intructions and recommendations are for me and what may be going on.
