I had breast augmentation last year. I started...

I had breast augmentation last year. I started running a low grade fever for months and my GP could not find the issue and the PS said it was not related to my surgery. I ended up having capsular constraction of both breast and the PS let this go on for at least 6 months putting me on Vit. E and then Accolade with no success. I finally went in around March of 2009 to have surgery to correct the C.C. keep in mind i still had this low grade fever for almost a year now.

After the P.S performed the surgery he said that i indeed did have an ifection in both breasts. he took them completely out and said he "bathed" them in antibiotic solution cleaned my breast out "very well" he said and put me on antibiotics afterwards. almost immediately my fever was gone.

A few months later my left breast began to harden again even with all the massaging? He did not wait as long as i insisted this time not to wait. he did a capsulectomy on the left breast last friday. again putting back the same implant? I was under local this time which was horrible because i could feel almost everything but i was from out of town and he said he would not use general because it was cheaper for me?

It has been a little over a week and i am running another low grade fever along with that i was massaging my breast today and blood came out of my nipple? I immediately stopped massaging when i saw the blood and called the PS. he said it was nothing and don't worry about it and stop massaging the breast and that regarding the fever i was probably getting the flu? This does not sound right to me. I would have at least thought i would have been put on some kind of antibiotic after being sent home from surgery? any advise would be greatly appreciated?

I need advise! I had a capsulectomy 11 days ago and now have a bloody discharge from my nipple and low grade fever?

Great review?

My Doctor: name not provided

depending on the outcome of my issue i will be better able to recommend?

YOU HAD INFECTED IMPLANTS AND YOU CONTINUE TO HAVE INFECTION The proper treatment of the infection is removal of implants capsulectomy drain pocket, no implants and treat with antibiotics. you can put the implants back again in six months. Infected implants should NEVER hve been reused. I do not believe you surgeon is a BOARD CERTIFIED PS

I hope this comment is "going where I want it" to on this website. I had my implants put in Almost 3 months ago and I won't go into detail on anything, but I will tell you: GO TO ANOTHER SURGEON IMMEDIATLY. And DO YOUR RESEARCH on that surgeon as best you can. This person Does Not Care about you or what is best for you. Your story is very disturbing and you have my support, but YOU MUST go to another doctor. Do Not stay with the one that got you this far into your situation. The only person you have forever, until the second that you die is yourself, and I am telling you, No One will take care of your health like you. Please, see someone else and always remember to be honest with yourself.. Bless your heart and don't trust that PS another minute. Blood out of your nipple?!?!?! That Is Insane and something that should be taken VERY serious. Also, Listen to your body. It's just like Mother Nature, earthquakes and tornados!! They will not stop what is natural to them just because it hurts, inconveniences or even kills you. Take Care of yourself!!
