I had breast implants for 8 years, but want them removed. Just want to be able to sleep on my stomach again. It's been too long since I had them, and just found out my aunt has breast cancer and is going to a lot. Our family didn't have a history and she is the first to have breast cancer. It worried me, and I should get breast examine more frequently. But because of my implants, I am reluctant to get regular breast exams. I'll just feel more comfortable and in peace if I had them out. I just want them out to better monitor my health in the future.

I am confused about the removal of the capsule? My doctor said he would leave it in- too difficult to remove all. Said, it would not show or hardy show in x-rays, and it would heal (disappear)? Please explain this to me...I'm suppose to face surgery next week. Thank you so much in advance.
