I waas looking foward for him to wear them until the end of the treatment. Now i hope his teeth will not get any worst than it is.

My son is a young teenager who has worn his braces but decided half way thru the treatment to take them off himself, no retainers.. I know that his teeth will shift back but will his jaw be affected? long face syndrome? facial imbalance?

This is your son's fault; not the fault of either the braces or the dentist so I think it is unfair to say that your doctor is "not recommended". He cannot be responsible for someone else's immaturity.
