I had a photofacial done on my nose, cheeks and chin to treat rosacea. The MD told me that he thought I would only need one treatment to see results.

I had one hour of numbing cream before the treatment and it was still mildly painful. I iced my face but the next day my face was like a tomato, red and swollen, and my eyes were so puffy i could barely open them. Day 3 I was also a tomato. Day 4 I started to look better.

I do not notice any difference in my facial redness. Would I know from the first treatment whether this will help me or not? I am not sure how to decide whether it makes sense to go back for a second treatment. Right now I am not inclined to do so.
