“Rhinoplasty for Hook/bump and Deviated Septum”
Posted 18 Aug 2009
I had rhinoplasty done 12 days ago along with having my deviated septum fixed. I had both an ENT and a cosmetic surgeon do the surgery. My septum was actually collapsed and needed to be reattached in my right nostril. My nose started out as a hook nose and I wanted cosmetic surgery to fix the hook/bump.
I did not have any sort of bump in between my eyebrows, however, now, after the surgery, there is a slight raise in between my eyebrows therefore making my nose look like it has no shape. Is this because of the swelling? Or is there a new bump formed?
How can you tell if a bump after rhinoplasty is swelling? This review is the subjective opinion of a RealSelf member and not of RealSelf, Inc.
