3 Years After my Laser Treatment and I Love It

Worth It
Spent: $4,000 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada

I had it done in 2005, one session every 6-8 weeks all over my body and I am absolutely happy with the results. That was one of the best investments I ever made.

I am from middle-east with a very light brown skin. My legs and upper thighs are lighter in color. I was very hairy before my treatment and had dark, thick hair especially on my legs, underarms and bikini area.

After the first two sessions of treatment, I almost completely lost the hair on my underarms and bikini area. (But I continued to have these areas lasered with the rest of my body for the rest of the treatment (a whole year).

After three years the results are still amazing. I got the best results on my underarms and legs. I barely have any hair left or grow on my legs, underarms and bikini, (except for few thin hair which grow every couple of weeks, is hard to see and I easily remove them with my epilady in a few minutes)

As my skin is darker on my arms, I still have some thin lighter hair left on my arms, but I easily use my epi-lady once every 5 weeks or so.

I even had few thick dark hairs on my chin that was completely removed with laser in the first few sessions.

The procedure itself would take a bit over an hour for the whole body and was somehow painful, especially where my skin was thinner like upper thighs, but it was bearable and the irritation on skin would completely go away by the next day.

I used to spend a lot of time and money shaving and waxing every month, but now I am almost hairless and every 4-5 weeks I spent a few minutes using my epilady for few thin hairs I have left.

It is important to know that if your hair is almost the same color as your skin, you probably won’t get the best results; I didn’t on my arms.

Which laser did you use? and also did you see a physician or just go to an everyday spa?
