My first day with them was quite painful, however after the first night, I was quite comfortable. I teach so I didn't want the metal in my mouth. I wasn't aware of the buttons, which I am constantly checking to make sure I haven't inadvertantly knocked one off. I ear what ever I want, and the best part is I have stopped snacking and have lost weight because of it! Yeah!
