I was on Obagi Brightenex 0.5 for a month and half while also getting in a low percentage glycolic peel in between...I stopped the product because my face was constantly red and I initially only wanted a chemical peel in the first place....1-2 months later (now) , I get rashes when my body heats up (exercise) and my face is hypersensitive...I'm using sensitive skin products + SPF so will this just take time to heal? I still get redness and flake a little here and there...any tips/warnings?
Ive been on obagi with the nightly trentinoin 0.1 for 3 weeks. The doctor said it would get rid of my under eye crepey wrinkles but it just seems to be making that area worse while the rest of my face is doing well. Is this just temporary or will the crepeyness eventually go away? I feel like nothing is going to work...it looks like its getting better but then i put makeup on and its horrid.
I feel like my skin is too delicate and sensitive and needs strength, maybe collagen. I've been told maybe Obagi .05 Retin-A & Obagi Blender FX with some Vitamin C and Peptides. Also I've been told microneedling could help. But then a natural skin care therapist told me Retin-A will thin & damage my skin. What should I do? I really need a protocol to build up the strength of my skin and help with fine lines I'm & thinness I'm seeing, esp around eyes but I'd like more robust skin in general.
Hi, I've been using Obagi Nuderm since last August. It's wonderful of course. My melasm gets pretty bad - I am 47 and even with strong sunscreen (50 - mineral sunscreen) I literally get a full facial mask of melasma. It is now creeping up and down my neck. ugh We have a boat and a beach house so I wear a hat and sunscreen but I love being outside. thanks for any input.
