Hello. I had hyperdiluted Radiesse injected in the skin just above my navel to treat mild skin laxity. Its been three months and I still have a blue colored bruise / discoloration. It doesnt look my true hyperpigmentation. It looks more blue like a vein color. Ive been treating it w hydroquinone 12 but the blue color is still there. Do you think it is a vascular issue or something else? How can I treat it? Laser?
I had 1 syringe of Radiesse (mixed w/lido) to tops of my cheeks. I'd had restalyn in the tear trough 6mos prior. It has been a nightmare. Severe swelling, inflammation, pain (day3-now). I'm on a 30day prednisone taper which has controlled the severe edema (for now). The discoloration is unrelenting. Using hydrquinone & tretinion, too. Is this discoloration in the skin or under the skin? How can I understand if it is due to active irritation, or the remaining effects of a prior reaction?
I had radiesse injected under my eye well over two month ago, mainly the left eye since it was more hallow then the right eye. Now I am completely discolored under my left eye and I have no idea what to do. It looks as though I have a black eye, and I am afraid it is permanent. What should I do to correct this? I have tried eye creams with no effect at all.
I had Radiesse injected into my tear troughs as well as my nasolabial folds three months ago. Initially, there was terrible swelling and dark bruising in all areas. After three months, the nasolabial folds and my right eye appear fairly normal. However, there is still a half-moon-shaped area of redness under my left eye as well as bluish discoloration. Can anything be done to remove this discoloration? Make-up does not cover, it not even Dermablend.
Hello I had radiessse injections 3 months ago and the redness at the injection site has not gone away. I saw the injector and was prescribed antibiotics and triamcinalone and methliprednisolone. But he assured me it would go away even without the medications. He said it was normal. Should I be concerned? Its need 3 days on the medications and no change.
Hi- I went to an injector used and recommended by many friends. I had no idea until after she was done that she used radiesse which cannot be dissolved. She injected my temples, cheekbones, and orbitals a little bit. I had extreme discomfort and swelling for WEEKS around my lower eyes. The swelling finally went away and my skin feels thinner than it ever has before and Im left with horrribleeee discoloration. This provider seems to have scarred me for life and Im livid. Can anything be done?
I had my 1st Radiesse injection in marionette lines and I bruised badly. 4 days after the injection I had a Dr. recommended laser to help bruising heal. I developed lumps and discoloration. Waited a couple weeks and then went back. Dr. said the Radiesse was doing what it should do and to wait another 2 weeks. I asked her if the laser could have caused a problem and she said she didn't know. Its now been 9 weeks and the lumps and discoloration is still there and the marionette lines actually look worse.
I'm 6 wks post Radiesse injections for tear troughs. I now know that most PS will not use Radiesse in this area due to problematic issues. Day 2 I developed raised fluid sacks that had a yellowish/brownish color to them (looked like festoons) they finally went away leaving me with a light rust color on the upper cheek bone. Could the carrier gel be causing an inflammatory reaction still and can it cause permanent scaring? I'm afraid to do anything else to this area in fear it will only make it worse.
I've had non-surgical rhinoplasty (Radiesse) 4 abt 2yrs. I love d height of my bridge. My bdge tends to last pretty long but d part towards my nasal tip dips after awhile. I hv recently noticed tt upon sunlight or against light, my bridge looks orangey n translucent. Is this due to d type of fillers or d amt of fillers used (my nose used to be rather flat) which caused this? M I better off hvg a surgical rhinoplasty to avoid this completely or is there even a way to correct this to begin with??
