I had Radiesse injected into my cheeks 6 days ago. The right side has a small bruise and is puffier than the left. As well, my lower cheeks and nose-to-mouth area appear MUCH too full. Also, my eyes appear set back and the tear trough is more pronounced. My question: Is there a way to off-set this look and improve my appearance? Would placing another filler in other areas (e.g., tear trough, high on cheek bone, etc.) help to create the look I want (see photos below)? Suggestions please!
Hi! I had one syringe of Radiesse injected into each of my cheeks 5 days ago to add volume. I am experiencing a very unfomfortqble amount of pressure in my left cheek, especially when I smile - almost like theres a rock pressing down on that area. My left is also more swollen and firmer than my right. My right feels sore but isnt bothering me nearly as much. Is this normal to have this much pressure and for the aftermath to be worse in one cheek that the other? Any feedback is helpful, thanks!
I had my 1st Radiesse injection in marionette lines and I bruised badly. 4 days after the injection I had a Dr. recommended laser to help bruising heal. I developed lumps and discoloration. Waited a couple weeks and then went back. Dr. said the Radiesse was doing what it should do and to wait another 2 weeks. I asked her if the laser could have caused a problem and she said she didn't know. Its now been 9 weeks and the lumps and discoloration is still there and the marionette lines actually look worse.
About 1 week ago I had Radiesse injected into acne scars on my chin and cheek. I saw immediate results! My lips were injected with the left over product in the center border of my bottom lip and the lip line of my top lip. I swelled and bruised for a few days but healed quickly. the bruising & swelling is gone and my acne scars are still there and my lips have lost the volume and now have small hard tender bumps. What happened? Did my body absorb it that quickly? Are my lips scarred?
I got radiesse in my cheeks, one of the cheeks was bigger than the other one, this morning I put strong finger pressure to that cheek try to make it less pertruding I am panicking because I see the shape different! Is that possible ? I was just hopping that I could make it a tiny flat, but not to change the shape. My question is, can radiesse be manipulated 9 days after the inyection that easily??? I am loosing sleep over this, and I am very depressed Please advice.:(
I had radiesse injections put in around my mouth and it looks like blood pooled on one side in that area. Is this permanent? I'm very nervous! This happened six days ago and it is not getting better from what I can tell. Is there anything I can do so it will heal faster or should I go see a doctor? I have been putting arnica gel on that area. Can you please help. Best Deirdre
I had .25 cc of radiesse injected into each cheek 5 days ago. The right cheek is perfect, but the left side is not OK. I went to urgent care at the request of my injector. I was told it was facial cellulitus and prescribed antibiotics. I am not sure the diagnosis is correct though. Looking at pictures online, I think it looks more like I have an occluded blood vessel. The area is still numb, including my lip and gums there is a hard purple bruise in the center of a red mark that covers my cheek.
I had Radiesse nose injection 5 days ago and right after injection, my forehead has a swollen long narrow shape from mid of eyebrow going vertical up to mid forehead (No radiesse was injected to forehead).Doc said it's vein occlusion. 2nd day post-op, swollen worm shape on forehead turns yellow bruise color, but 3rd day yellow color is almost gone. 5th day post-op, swollen worm shape on forehead turns yellow again. Can vein occlusion causes skin necrosis/scar?what are symptoms? Doc asked me to do warm compresses, 1 325mg Aspirin/day, and Arnica. What else should I do? The swollen vein on forehead is still swollen, what will happen if this vein is blocked for weeks? Thanks for your help!
