Zeltiq permanently reduces fat without downtime
Zeltiq is a noninvasive way to permanently reduce fat. It is best used in patients that are relatively fit, but have small pockets of diet and exercise-resistant fat. Patients can expect a 20-25% reduction of the area that is treated. During and after the 1 hour treatment, you may some discomfort, but you are able to resume normal activities. Zeltiq is the real deal! Amost every patient who has done one area has returned to do a different area because they are so happy. Zeltiq works through a process called cryolipolysis and it freezes the fat in a given area! You will see a 20 to 25% reduction in fat in a given area after just one treatment. We have seen great results!
We have seen great results in our practice with Cool Sculpting. Scientific documentation shows a reduction of 20-25% for one treatment and we are showing the same results with patients being treated in our office. Although Coolsculpting is not a trade off for Liposuction it is a great non surgical option for fat reduction.

The literature and the patient testimonials are consistent that there is a 20-25% reduction of fat in the area treated with each treatment. Permanent Fat Removal
Developed by Harvard doctors, Zeltiq destroys fat cells by a process called cryolipolysis. It basically freezes fat cells. The fat cells are cooled until they develop ice crystals within the cell that destroys the cell. Over 8-12 weeks the body removes the dead cells and the fat layer shrinks. It is guaranteed to remove at least 20% of the fat cells in the treated area. This fat cell loss is permanent, and the area can be re-treated several times.

It has been established in a number of scientific studies that cryolipolysis works in reducing fat cells. In our clinical experience Zeltiq produces visible improvements that patients are very happy with. It is not as powerful of a tool as liposuction in reducing large fat pockets but for most of our patients with 'love handles' and 'muffin top' issues it works very well.

Based on my research into the product and my first-hand experience with the Zeltiq device, I can attest that Zeltiq is effective for reduction of abdominal and flank fat. It is most optimal for patients that are already quite fit, but have a very localized region of abdominal or 'love handle' fat. These patients would be ideal liposuction candidates anyway.
