I saw an ad for youthology eye serum and wondered if it can possibly live up to its stated promise. Youthology website claims " What if you could turn back the hands of time and look up to ten years younger — without painful injections or surgery — AND in just 90 seconds" My instinct says no to youthology. Anyone think youthology is worth buying?

Its main ingredient is probably something like egg whites! This is a very old quick fix trick. To dab slightly beaten egg whites around your eyes you will get an instant tightening, but it will dry, flake and crack. This sounds like the modern version. WHen wll we learn???

This product is a scam - I reported them to the BBB- and their response was a lie. I sent the item back over a month ago which they told me I'd be refunded and I have seen nothing in my bank account. I recommend everyone to go to the BBB and report a claim on this SCAM of a company!!!! BEWARE. - ERIN see below my BBB claim: Complaint Description - Posted 1/8/2008 I saw this product on tv and ordered it over the phone. The number given was an automated service person that asked me to repeat my answers numerous times. It screwed up my order and set me up to order every month for $40.00 instead of just one purchase. It also signed me up for magazines I didn't ask for. I tried calling the Customer Service number (866-968-8490)I tried calling for 3 hours for 7 days in a row, finally I got through after waiting for over 20 minutes with no prompts as to when I'd be helped. The person was rude and told me they would take my monthly purchase off of my account and I'd only be billed once. I said fine - and hung up. I received the product nearly 3 weeks later and tried it - it did the opposite of what it claimed. Its supposed to remove wrinkles and it gave me more. It felt like I was putting glue under my eyes and after 5 minutes it flaked off. I'm only 23 yrs old so I dont have that many wrinkles - i thought i'd give it to my mom to try. Same result. Absolutely a terrible product. This infomercial is lying to consumers and needs to be pulled off the air. I emailed their customer service help contact at (customerservice@youthology.com) and never heard back. At this point I just wanted my money back. I tried for 2 weeks to call the number that was provided for my 6 week money back gurantee and all i got was a busy signal. Finally today I reached Youthology - after waiting for 30 minutes. They told me to mail it back for refund. Complaint Summary This product is a complete SCAM. I saw it on a infomercial and ordered it for $40.00. It pretty much is Elmers Glue for under your eyes.DOES NOT WORK! Resolution Sought I want my money refunded to my account and also want the website and infomercial to be pulled from viewing. This whole company is a scam. Company's Response Company's Initial Response - Posted 01/26/2008 Customer is not truthful about the automated service person, this is a live human being that you speak with. Regardless, customer will be refunded upon return of product. She called on 1/7/08 for instructions and once we have product back, refund will be issued. The product works fine for those who use it properly. Refund upon return of product. Consumer's Rebuttal Consumer's Rebuttal - Posted 01/28/2008 I AM TRUTHFUL about ordering through an automated voice. The number that is provided on the infomercial directed me to an automated voice that asked me to answer yes or no or speak numbers and then repeated it back to me to which I then would respond yes or no if the automation was correct. The product does not work "fine" for those who use it "properly". I followed the directions word for word and NOTHING HAPPENED. The item was mailed back the day I filed my complaint (1/08/08) I have seen NO refund to DATE (1/28/08) I've made copies of all of the shipping info and photographed proof of sending the product. I want my money refunded or I will take further action. This product is a Scam. Company's Final Response Company's Final Response - Posted MM/dd/yyyy Their final response was "Posted MM/dd/yyyy" nice!...Im 50 dollars in the hole and already shipped the crap back which they will turn around and scam on their next victim!!!

I purchased this item and waited 2 months for the item. What a joke. Then after using the product I saw no improvement. Contacted customer service due to the fact that they set you up on a recurring auto shipment and of course that is in the fine print. Asked to be canceled and for a RTV. Got a thank you email. Horrible customer service. NEver got to return the original shipment. Claims the warranty is expired. Beware buyers.

No, it does not work. I tried it and sent it back immediately, which they said I could do because I was supposed to see results in 90 seconds. I sent it back 7 weeks ago and still have not gotten my money back on my credit card. Do not be as gullible as I was.

After reading all the comments here Youthology sounds no better than using some egg whites to temporarily tighten your skin. Thanks for saving me from buying this product.

I ordered Youthology a couple months ago and I have to say it really does work well. You have to experiment a little in applying the right amount when you first get it--if you apply too much, the serum dries to a white film that looks weird and isn't easily covered with makeup. But once you figure out how much to apply (a tiny dab will do) and also that it needs to be smoothed over the entire undereye area to avoid puckering, you'll be amazed at how it really does smooth out wrinkles. Basically, I think the stuff is made of egg whites--as it dries, it pulls everything tighter. So maybe a cheaper alternative may be to just try to whip up some egg whites and see if it would work just as well. :^)

If you want to try a product that works just like Youthology, without buying it over the phone or internet, go to Ulta and buy a product called Instatox. It works exactly the same way and it does work very well, for up to 8 hours. It must be applied to clean skin (no lotion or makeup). I apply mineral powder makeup, with sunscreen, over the Instatox. Liquid or cream makeup will ruin the tightening effect.
