How to Look Younger?

For people who don't have wrinkles or sagging skin but still look old - someone who is 40 but doesnt look 20. Question is how do you make yourself look younger? What do you have to do? Forget about drastic procedures like facelift or plastic surgery which always looks obvious and unnatural...well most of the time. Anything else out there that's more non invasive or gentler? Any lotions/potions out there that could help? Note that the skin is neither rough nor sun damaged nor thin. Thanks.

Hi Daisea,

You asked a really good question and there is no one right way to answer it.  In terms of creams, regular use of sunscreens, antioxidants and topical retinoids/retinol help prevent fine lines and wrinkles and may help improve a blotchy, uneven skin tone associated with sun exposure and aging.  However, the amount of improvement you can achieve with creams alone is limited.  It is understandable that you prefer not to have an invasive procedure done such as a facelift.  There are many other non-invasive options available such as IPL, Fraxel, Thermage, Ulthera, Pixel, fillers and neuromodulators such as Botox and Dysport that can address the appearance of aging skin.  Of course, you would need an in-person evaluation by a physician to determine which procedure is right for you with the price being dependent on multiple factors including the extent of your concern, the recommended procedure(s), the number of treatments recommended and the total treatment area.  Good luck!
