Asymmetry after breast lift with augmentation

Some asymmetry is normal after breast lift with augmentation, and final results are usually visible at one year after surgery. If notable asymmetry persists, a revision may be considered at this point, and this may involve only repositioning the implant rather than redoing the entire mastopexy as well. A thorough discussion with your plastic surgeon would be very beneficial prior to undergoing any further surgery.

Abnormal Breast Shape One Year Later

Pictures would be helpful here.  If you still have a high riding implant one year after augmentation-mastopexy then you may have a capsular contraction.  The best way to determine this would be to revisit with your plastic surgeon for an exam.   Dr. ES

1 year after breast aug/lift--your position is not going to change.

So, you need to see your surgeon. The good thing is that you have waited a sufficient time to actually see exactly where things have ended up, rather than trying to "hit a moving target" with too-early revisional surgery. Your surgeon should have discussed with you his/her revision policy and costs. Please realize that with touch-up surgery (most) surgeons are not interested in "making more money" from you; rather, they are interested in making you happy, with the... more

Revisions are needed sometimes to fix high breast implants.

Since it has been a yars, you should speak with your PS about getting a revision.  It may be a small surgical procedure to move the implant over a little.  see video

Results after one year from breast augmentation

Certainly your result is what it is at this point, no further evolution or implant settling can be expected.  You sound like you need a revision and should discuss this with your doctor.

Persistent Breast Asymmetry with a Higher Breast a year after Breast Augmentation

Successful Breast Augmentation is predicated on creating a pocket centered behind the nipple which will allow the implant to sit exactly behind the nipple pushing the breast forward through its central point. This position SHOULD (but is not always) verified by sitting the patient up and checking the implants were sitting where they should be. Even if this is done, tissue swelling may push an implant up BUT it should not take more than several weeks for such implant elevation to resolve.... more

Asymmetry after breast augmentation lift

One year is more than long enough to wait. If you have breast asymmetry that is not acceptable, then I would see your plastic surgeon to discuss option, but I would suspect you will need a revision.

Results after Breast Augmentation With Lift

Determining when you can appreciate the final result after any surgery can be challenging. However, after one year enough time has passed that you can certainly consider these your results and the implants settled. If you have any concerns about your final results, you should revisit this with your plastic surgeon.   Best of luck

Breast Implants High after Breast Augmentation Surgery

If your implant is still high after one year, there is very little that will change with time. Your breast implant pocket may need to be adjusted or you may have developed capsular contracture around your breast implants. You should consult with your surgeon to evaluate if there is anything that can be altered.

Breast Aug Lift not Dropping

It takes about a year for any surgery to settle down completely, especially the combination of breast augmentation with breast lift. If you have waited a year, and your implants have not dropped, it is likely that will remain high. I would check in with your plastic surgeon and see what can be done. If the only problem is that the implant is a little high, this is usually a straight forward revision, with minimal downtime.

Asymmetry of breasts

If the breast has not dropped after a year and there is significant asymmetry, you may want to talk to your surgeon about a revision.
