I am currently on OrthoTri cyclen birth control, and my dermatologist suggested I switch to Yaz. I am also currently starting Differin .3% gel. I go back to college in a month and a half, and I want to go back with the clear skin I had last year. Is there any way these 2 changes will clear it up that fast?

How fast will birth control clear up acne
Unfortunately, no one can tell you how quickly your acne may respond to any particular medicine. Typcially, acne begins to respond and show improvement from systemic treatments like antibiotics in a 6-10 week time period but some people take longer. Also, with Yaz I would expect that "clearing up" acne will take slightly longer than with antibiotics. The point is that everyone has a different response rate so the answer varies by individual with no set rule for a response time....
