Nd Yag Laser - What Settings are Right for Me?

i have skin type 3 with coarse black hair all over except on my back which is fine hair. for my coarse hair my laser technition has been using settings (35j, 23m/s) are these settings effective?

NdYag Treatments Should Be Performed by an MD or by a Technician Supervised by an MD

In our office all treatments with our NdYag (Candela GentleYag) are performed by me with my medical assistant or by medical assistant under my supervision. All lasers can cause permanent, disfiguring side effects if not used by someone with the appropriate training and understanding of the laser technology and the anatomy and biology of the skin, hair and nails. It is inappropriate to discuss settings without seeing the skin type and skin condition being treated. more
