Does ND-Yag Laser Help Long-term Hair Removal?

I search a lot and found ND-Yag laser is better for darker skin but i also found that It doesn't help for long term hair removal. I have some hair on my face and my skin type is IV. Please guide me to the right direction.I have also tried Alexandrate laser but didn't work for me...
